This tutorial teaches you to remove unwanted background noise from your audio or video files in Adobe Audition.
Let’s open an audio file with some excess noise to Audition.
The background noise is more clear if we boost the levels a little bit.
Let’s fix this by going to effects–> noise reduction/restoration–> noise reduction process.
First we select an area which has only noise in it. Then we press “capture noise print”.
Now we can play with the amount the noise is reduced by dragging the two sliders.
Finish the process by hitting apply.
Let’s also quickly remove the slight pop sound in the end by simply selecting the sound and choosing effects, silence.
That’s it! Thanks for reading and see you next time on OneMinuteVideoTutorials.com.
